Part of the port’s facilities is an automatic electronic road type- weighbridge with a 70 tons capacity.
Since March 2011, Rafina Port Authority SA, has granted its operation to a third party following an invitation to tender.
The weighbridge operates whenever there is a scheduled F/B Ship itinerary to the islands irrespective of time or public holidays, at least three (3) hours prior to departure.
The charge for trucks with a gross weight of up to five (5) tons, heading for the islands, is up to four euros (€ 4,00) including VAT and for trucks with a gross weight of more than five (5 ) tons , heading for the islands ,is up to seven euros (€ 7,00) including VAT.
