Fishing Shelter

The Port possesses a 50 berth fishing shelter. Its facilities also include a Slipway to facilitate fishermen. Access to fishing shelter is controlled by modern electronic systems. Entrance and exit to Fishing shelter is permitted to special card holders only. Those interested in using the slipway can obtain access cards from the port’s authority organization offices from Monday to Friday between 8:00 to 15:00 hours.

Access cards cost 5 euros and there is an additional charge of 5euros for each of the port’s facilities that are used. Port facilities that can be used include boat launching (two uses of the bar) and boat recovery
(2 uses of the bar) using the slipway. The cardholder may top up their card with as many port facilities uses they wish by paying the corresponding amount. There is no expiration date on the use of the card.

Other facilities of the shelter include electronic power supply and water system. In order to use the system a special card is required. The cost of the card is 10 euros. Cards can be obtained from the port’s authority organization offices from Monday to Friday between 8:00 to 15:00 hours.


The cards can be topped-up and then charged for the consumption of electricity and water according to the following scale:

Electricity:  5 euros for 24 hours.
Water: 2 euros per cubic water
